N.K. Jemisin Gives the Acceptance Speech We All Need

N.K. Jemisin won a Hugo Award last week for The Stone Sky, the concluding novel of her Broken Earth trilogy. I’m nearly finished with The Fifth Season and can’t wait to make my way through the remaining novels in the Broken Earth trilogy.

So, how many of y’all saw Black Panther? Alright. Okay. Probably my favorite part of it is, actually, Kendrick Lamar’s theme song, ‘All the Stars.’ The chorus of it is, “This may be the night that my dreams might let me know all the stars are closer.” Let 2018 be the year the stars came closer for all of us.
