Purchase Statistics for “Someone”

Standard

It has been a little more than a month since Someone to Remember Me became available for download through the iBooks, Nook, and Kindle Stores in North America and Canada (thank you, Jack Barker!). I’ve had wonderful support and an amazing turnout with regards to downloads, and since so many people regularly ask how it’s doing, I thought I’d take this chance to share the sales stats for my novel.

Without further adieu, the breakdown is as follows:

  • iBooks: 35 units downloaded.
  • Kindle: 24 units downloaded.
  • Nook: 1 unit downloaded. (thanks Stacey!)

The vast majority were downloaded first day:

  • iBooks: 22 units downloaded on launch day.
  • Kindle: 9 units downloaded on launch day.
  • Nook: 1 unit downloaded on launch day. (again, thanks Stacey!)

At this point, it’s safe to say that all of these sales were to friends and family who came out in force to support my enterprise. Moving the book forward, I have to clean it up (because apparently it’s not perfect, and has a typo or two) and send it off to some reviewers who will hopefully blog up some fresh readers.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who purchased a copy and offered their support and encouragement. I couldn’t have done it without any of you!

Brendan
